Description:

Dirdy is a hobgoblin that was born and raised in Zaichaer. He has a very lackadaisical approach to life and only got this job because his uncle is Zeerd, the sous chef. He doesn't particularly care about cooking, but its an easy enough job and it keeps his mom from riding his case. Any time he can find downtime, he will sneak off to start drawing in his notebook.

He's a quiet young lad and is prone to bouts of daydreaming. On his days off he can be found fishing, tending to his garden at his mom's house, or sometimes working on a new sculpture. He doesn't like conflict so he just keeps his head down and does the work. He was once complimented about how well he peels potatoes and now he always volunteers to do that job.

Description: Chestnut is a bright light in the chaos of the kitchen. She actually seems to truly enjoy the chaos, often cheering or clapping her hands whenever there's an argument or something bad that happens. She is almost always found singing, dancing, or acting out a role while working in the kitchen.

For her, cooking is an art, and she truly tries to make every dish be pleasing on all of the senses, including those exclusive to the Fae. This has led her to be quite the risk taker in the kitchen, and sometimes her stuff isn't safe to eat, driving the Sous and Head Chefs nuts. However, when she does something well, she does it amazingly well and supposedly one of her dishes made the Head Chef cry.

She's always pleasant and friendly and bubbly. She's often naïve seeming about any topic she's not actively partaking in, but will randomly throw out insights on things that none would expect. She does occasionally go into deep bouts of depression if she can't make a dish work the way she wants and can be violently hostile to anyone who insults the arts.

Description: Birx is, in his mind, an up and coming superstar in the world of mixology. He's dedicated his life to the pursuit of mixology as an art and passion. He is extremely serious about his job and will never be found slacking off or joking. If he's not actively prepping ingredients or making drinks, he can be found at the side of one of the bartenders, learning from them and offering to make drinks and provide his own ideas.

He's not particularly sociable but he does seem to have a knack at convincing people to try his various mixological creations. He's always on the look out for new techniques, ingredients, and ideas. He talks about a wife and children back home, but no one has ever seen them or ever seen Birx outside of work. Birx is very proud of what he's learned and often takes the high horse over people who are just trying to learn and aren't quite as good as him.

Description:
Shel is a very laid back barback at the Hobbled Gobbler. She largely prefers to just cut the limes, clean the flagons, and otherwise work at her own pace. She's always humming a song, and is the first to volunteer to fetch anything from the basement or go out on delivery pickups and runs. When she does have to serve, she's typically pretty rude and short tempered. She often insults customers, using veiled compliments, particularly about their physical appearances. She's also a big fan of muttering under he breath about her coworkers, especially after being admonished for something. She also hates working alongside Haroth these days because they used to see each other, but he's since spurned her.

Outside of work, Shel is a fitness nut. She's always running, climbing, swimming, whatever she can do to stay in shape and pushing herself. She often asks other coworkers, especially those she thinks are out of shape, if they want to join her in exercise and she's very high energy. She will continue to badger people about this, even if they've declined in the past. She never drinks or uses drugs but does smoke, and can be constantly found ogling people who are in peak shape.

Description: Bob was found wandering around, looking for a home to take care of. He had apparently been fired by his previous, wealthy, human family after suggesting Merlot when the patriarch asked for Chardonnay to go with his meal. All of the bartenders at the Gobbler have told Bob that he made the correct choice and that the human was an idiot. But Bob was nonplussed about it, just wishing to work.

Bob is clean and meticulous and very literal. He maintains the cleanliness of the entire upstairs, as well as does a deep clean once a week downstairs. If there is not a 'Do not disturb' sign on a room between sunrise and noon, Bob will come in and start cleaning. And he will not stop unless one of his managers tells him to do so. Many have told Bob that he's the least sociable Awoken they've ever met, and he thanked them.

In addition to maintaining the cleanliness, Bob has been known to entertain small children or pets, a remnant duty from his previous job. Bob has never once been late, has never given any lip, and has always done his job to perfection. No one knows what Bob does outside of work, and he never talks about his life.

Description: Oaky is a little shit. He works around the bar bussing tables, mopping up messing, taking out the trash. However, he can only be found if the bar is especially busy, otherwise he finds a place to hide away from the prying eyes of everyone else. He's constantly being told to get back to work or to just do his job in general. With a sigh and an eyeroll, he gets back to it.

He's largely tolerated because he's cheap and he doesn't really upset the customers. But he always seems to be on the verge of being fired, and when it feels too close, he'll work really hard for a day or two until the pressure alleviates. Then he's back to his old self. There are rumors that one of the higher ups keep him around despite his issues, but as to why, is not known.

He's first out the door when his shift ends, regardless of what state the bar is in. He is constantly pestering about taking days off, comes in late. His dad works all the time off in the factories of the Grungeworks so in his downtime he often is running with friends or finding some other trouble to get into.
