These small striped rodents are often tiny enough to sit in your palm full grown.Their eyes are extremely reflective in the dark seeming to almost glow in starlight, a trait that has startled many the unwary in the night. These creatures scream loud and often if they perceive a threat. Its not unheard of for the occasional squealmouse to shriek until it passes out from the effort. They are a common pest wherever grains are stored and will choose raiding a barns stocks often over foraging for themselves.
