Baudric held his side a moment as Talon stood to assist Telion. A queer look on his face as doubt set itself to his senses. He knew they didn't have the methods the Imperium had to treat demonic injuries. So the idea they thought they could simply cast a healing spell to make it all better amused him. Placing his arm about his waist he wanted to feel this 'healing' happen in real time.
The air shifted, a light breeze began to blow in the greyscape of his mind. Something that had never happened before. The golden flecks of his eyes began to glow along with his Negation Rune on his chest as if to respond to the energy in the air coming off the two of them. He didn't know what to expect but it certainly wasn't what began to unfold before him. Shock in utter reverence gripped at his heart. Talon unfolded like a blossom of pure light to banish the shadows of the greyscape. Like molten platinum with irrefutable evidence Talon was exactly what he said he was. Baudric would have dropped to his knees were it not for him sitting already.
Like a living creature, the demonic ichor within him began to recoil from the light, wanting to consume Baudric faster as it dug deeper to get away. Gritting his teeth to the searing pain coursing through his blood. Breathing hurt. The air felt like blades across his skin. His mind filled with the roar of a hundred pillars of burning pyres. Pure purifying flame then joined with the brilliant warm light coming off Telion. It was so much he had to hold fast against the pain. His soul reached out to them both to finish this quickly.
He felt the gaze of the Inquisition upon his back as if they would cry out to the blasphemous actions Baudric allowed to be set upon him. He shut them from his mind quickly. Surely there is no way they would know that a reborn god not recognized by the Sovereign nor the Inquisition cleansed that which he could feel now with ever fiber of his being, threatening to claim his life and soul to the Abyss beyond the Gash.
