Oliver listened to Valentin's ranting over dinner. If only the time where you just want to relax would get so tense; the talk of venomous politics spewed out of Valentin's mouth as he tilted his head. Valentin had valid points to come across, he was preserving the family's fortune in his work, yet so was Oliver as well as much more. He was preserving the world from tyranny and other mages who wish to embroil the world with madness. He couldn't help but lash out back.

"Do you think you'd be standing here if it wasn't for our grandfather hunting those relics, collecting them and bringing them to the safety of the Imperial Inquisition to avoid mad tyrants from getting their hands on them hmm?" He paused for a moment as he crossed his arms, answering back as the parents would watch the two powerful wills battle each other again. Victor facepalmed as Cecilia shook his head, knowing these fights were quite common at the dinner table. It was best if they left them to their own devices.

"Where would you be if Alexander didn't secure those relics from the world? We probably would've never existed; yet there are people in the world who would hunt those relics to secure them and hide them from the world? Hmm?" Oliver had a point, but he was seething with anger at that point, that if no one continued Alexander's legacy, the world would be twice as vulnerable as it was "Agh! I've lost my fucking appetite, thanks to dick brain over there." He said explicitly as he stormed off to his room with a loud slam. Hillary would look over at the situation, knowing how Oliver exploded often.

He wasn't getting through to Valentin, though he would rather work a desk job than explore the world and help him achieve a legacy a great man had left behind.
