₪ The strange man seemed delighted by Siorey's answer. Despite all the riddles, it was clear this man knew something about the ancient magic he was looking into. It was as if he knew someone would be trying to find it. It made Siorey ponder even more about who this man really was. How did he know so much yet reveal so little? It was not surprising when he mentioned that the information on the magic was limited, as most things seemed to be around this place.
Siorey's eyes lit up a bit with excitement as the man spoke of needing to prepare, as if a chance for a new discovery was coming. As the man left he etched the words into his mind. He had to prepare, but he would have liked to know what he was preparing for, and what he needed to prepare. It was the main reason he hated when information was given in cryptic code and riddles, it was hard to know how to be ready.
Standing he rushed to the doorway to see if the man was still around, but alas he was gone as quickly as he appeared. Ma'ar Vokun came to nuzzle against him, Siorey wound up in thought as to who this man was and whether it was truly wise to trust him, but seeing as he was the only one who had given him more information than any tome and book found within the halls of the Tower libraries.
That alone allowed a smile to work its way onto Siorey's face, he could be close to something great, something noteworthy within the Tower, but it could also be something that would be a great consequence in return. ₪
