MOTIF: The Jigoku

Introduction

The Rune of Elementalism intermingles the voracious, consuming, and aggressive nature into the soul of Kotoru. Most notably, it causes Koto's fiery personality to flourish, making him emulate the nature of fire more than anything truly. As he progresses, he will become more akin to a demon in how he interacts with the world around him, born from the flames of hell itself, the Jigoku.

蛇 Fire's Embrace - Apprentice
  • At apprentice-level Kotoru begins to see that fire favors him. When in the presence of fire it will lean in his direction, yearning to ignite his fiery personality traits in their presence. Fires within his 20ft of him or under his influence turn a mystifying black hue with subtle hints of blue. His hands and feet are coated in this beautiful flame as well, though do not burn through his clothing as the flames are aetheric.

蛇 All-Consuming Hellfire - Journeyman
  • At journeyman, Koto's soul becomes more like fire itself, wishing to consume all around him, to lace everything his hand's touch with fire. This also translates into his personality, his emotions becoming intense in a broader spectrum; loving more intensely, hating with a fiery passion, etc. As such with his Kin element being fire, other elements he wields are laced with characteristics of fire. Winds will carry heat that burns, waters become scoldingly hot, and the earth melts into scorching mud. Fire becomes far more intense in its capabilities of what Koto can do with it. This entails that at this level of control, fire wielded by Koto burns with a far more intense heat than normal flames would. Those caught in it or even witnessing it in action attribute it to that of the unquenchable flames of some otherworldly underworld of a Mist Lord. The downside to this is that elements other than fire become far more taxing for Koto to command, and cost more aether than fire would.

Hi Kotoru!

I'm cool with this motif, but I do have a few things I'd like to challenge you to improve and clarify:

Hellstone --

1. Does this improve his manipulation of fire? What does this look like? Does he have a range?
2. How does he feed the fire?
3. Does he essentially die every time he has an emotional breakdown? As in, his body melts from the inside if he loses control? This seems a bit limiting to his character development.

All-Consuming Flame --

1. I would suggest that you clarify what you mean by "more intense" in terms of his fire being amplified. Also, does this affect his personality in any way? The way you describe his soul/Rune's change of heart seems it would change his personality. It's fine if it doesn't, but I would describe it a bit differently if not. Maybe more like his Arche element feeds into all of his other elements due to its dominance over his soul.

Most importantly, please specify how his fire becomes more intense. Wider? Spreads more? Hotter? Some details would make it approvable.

Thanks friend!

So i deciding to just scratch out the Hellstone and replace it with the All-Consuming flame quirk as his Journeyman quirk instead.
