Name: Tigurumel
Habitat: Dense forests and grasslands.
Rarity: Uncommon.
Threat: Moderate to high. While not inherently aggressive, Tigurumel can be dangerous when provoked or when their hive is threatened.
Description: Tigurumel are large creatures, with the size and build of a tiger but with insectoid features such as a proboscis-like tongue and small wings. Their fur is striped, and their eyes are compound like that of a fly. They are social creatures, living in packs with hive-like structures. They communicate with each other through pheromones and high-pitched clicks.
Biome Role: Tigurumel are important pollinators, spreading pollen across their habitats as they roam in search of prey.
Diet: Tigurumel feed on both nectar and prey animals. They produce honey from the combination of nectar and proteins/fats from their prey, which they feed to their young.
Aging & Reproduction: Tigurumel live for up to 15 years, and their reproduction is similar to that of bees, with a queen laying eggs and the rest of the pack working to protect and feed the young.
Size: Tigurumel are approximately the size of a large tiger, with males typically weighing between 300-500 pounds and females weighing slightly less.
