龍 43rd of Glade, Year 123, A.o.S 龍
龍 Hikami wouldn't be able to recall how he managed to make it to the Temple of the Fallen Skies. The last thing he remembered was falling into the water after wounding the Hydra, and then nothingness. When he awoke he found himself within a room, his amorphas form sloshing about as he roused from his sleep. Disoriented he did his best to stand, now noticing his form was that of roiling waters. He couldn't believe it, mostly because he knew he should be dead, but more so because he could no longer feel the Ice spirit that dwelled within him. It was apparent now the price for his hubris, as it cost him the spirit that held his form together.
He couldn't feel his connection to the spirit of Udori Lake either, and that broke him even more. He had to figure out what had happened if the sacrifice was in vain or not. For some time he ventured the halls of the strange place until he came to a room, it was surrounded by candles the calming aroma of incense, and the humming chime of a bell. Within the room was a lone figure, a female orkhan. He went to speak but the orkhan woman raised a hand, motioning him to come and sit with her. He wasn't sure what to make of it, but he obliged the woman as he trudged his way over, sitting beside the orkhan.
"Come and sit with me. You must have many questions. Filled with confusion and uncertainty, but rest assured you are safe here." she began, her eyes never opened but she smiled, and he felt somewhat at ease around her. "I am Nikuno, Master of the Temple of the Fallen Skies. A lot of favors were called in for you to spend your recovery here." she continued. For a moment there was silence between them until she stood. She began to circle him as she spoke. "The Hero of Udori, a warrior who inspires valor and confidence when taken to the field of battle in defense of Kalzasi. You are an untamed storm, thrashing about with no direction, no purpose. During your stay here you will come to conquer the storm within you, but only if you wish to. I cannot make you want to restore yourself to your former glory. That is all up to how you apply your efforts from this moment forward."
She allowed that to sink in before she came to sit in front of him. "Empty your mind and calm yourself, envision yourself within the storm itself and concentrate on calming it." she instructed, which Hikami had done, closing his eyes as he envisioned himself within a raging ocean storm. Fierce winds and water raged around him as he tried his best to focus on what calming it would or even should feel like. "It's not as easy as you make it seem." he grumbled, to which he felt a tap on his forehead as Nikuna chuckled.
"Try harder little dragon, only you allow yourself to concentrate, to focus your mind and envision what you want the storm to be will it change." 龍
