60 Searing, Year 124
[Closed - Solo]
Hilana and Lia had headed north for the day to visit with Rickter’s pack and check in on him. The beginnings of the meal were prepared and stewing in the kitchen, and since Telion needed to go out and do a few things, Hilana and Lia had offered to mind the twins. Not that they didn’t have staff on hand to help, but the Vastian women enjoyed the little ones, and why not? If anything, she could do what she needed to do and rest with Rickter. As far as Hilana could tell, the Atinoran blonde could definitely use the break. Summer tended to be that time of year when munchkins got into things, and these two little ones were no exception.
Unfortunately for them, Hilana had energy and to spare, and she could match the two of them and had the stamina to ultimately outlast them. Athalia, though, always felt that her sister’s match was definitely found in a horde of sugar-fueled children, and if she had been a gambling woman, she might have bet on Isaac and Kendrick. She had said as much that morning when she was packing her basket of sewing and crafting supplies, having cut the pieces at home where little ones wouldn’t be around razor-sharp rotary cutters and truly wicked fabric sheers. Now she just had to sew and stuff, but the sewing was going to be the fun and interesting part of all this. She usually focused more on clothes than on stuffed toys, but there was an interesting challenge to doing so. This was more of a woollen fabric, and it would be soft enough for the boys. Hilana had come up with a solution through alchemy to toughen it up so that it wouldn't rip and tear too easily, but it would not take away the softness of the toy.
