There is a knock at the door, deep and resonate, as though passing through the ocean's depths. When the door is opened, no one waits on the other side, but a wind rises, scented with a sharp salt tang. The wind tungs, rushing around and then through the one it sought, filling each of their senses until, for a moment, there is nothing. As suddenly as it came, the wind retreats. What did it leave behind..?

Sea Salt's Soul:

The Len'Lavian family has been trading through the harbors of deme Limánia since the restoration of the Court of Princes, and even during the period of oppression by and rebellion against the Clockwork Empire, many of Thimryl's ancestors made their livelihood there. Many of them made their acts of rebellion on or around ships in those harbors.

The bearer of Sea Salt's Soul has a set of abilities innate to them, associated with being aboard ships and on docks.

Salt's Stealth: When on a seagoing vessel or on docks for seagoing vessels, the bearer's Stealth ability will be effectively one level higher than they currently have points for (Apprentice will operate as Journeymen, etc).

Salt's Grace: When on a seagoing vessel or on docks for seagoing vessels, the bearer's Acrobatics ability will be effectively one level higher than they currently have points for (Apprentice will operate as Journeymen, etc).

Note: Recently, Thimryl has been having dreams that he hadn't had since his childhood, dreams of skulking and secreting things away. Whether his blood is singing to him or not, he cannot know without a pilgrimage to experts, such as the Aimatikós. But to seek them with something so trivial might be seen as disrespectful, if they even exist.

The wind tungs, rushing around and then through the one it sought, filling each of their senses until, for a moment, there is nothing. As suddenly as it came, the wind retreats. What did it leave behind..?

Desert Survivor's Soul:

The bearer of Desert Survivor's Soul has a set of abilities innate to them, associated with being in the harsh environments of Solunarium's deserts.

Survivor's Thirst: While the bearer is within the environs of a desert, they may activate this ability to be drawn to the nearest source of water. This manifests in a tugging sensation in their chest that grows stronger the closer they get to the water source. The source may be in any direction, including underground, though clouds do not activate it.

Survivor's Scent: While the bearer is within the environs of the desert, predatory creatures are significantly less likely to approach them. Something about them, a scent or a pheromone pushes such creatures away. Only when cornered or in dire need will they approach and attack the bearer.
