Needs and Wants [Solo]

In which substances are perused and selected.

The Umbrium is the lower half and secondary seat of the Solunarian Capital and one of the dual-cities that comprises Solunarium Proper. Before the rise of Aværys, mining revealed the site of a ruined, underground city which they dubbed Oblitium “The Forgotten City”, the foundations of which were incorporated into what is now The Umbrium. Warmed by the magma that churns just behind the walls, the Umbrium houses the Palatium Umbrarum (The Shadow Palace) which was constructed directly beneath its sunlit counterpart, the Blazing Palace. This palace serves as the primary seat of government when the sovereign is moonborn, and houses the headquarters of The Silver Sentinels.

They were in the middle of a conversation when Zosoar cut the topic off entirely, which told Hilana that they had a customer about to walk through the door. The shadows that lurked around Harataecia's Blood were talkative, and they confirmed what Zosoar knew due to his wards. They had a client coming in. He took a step back away from the counter, indicating quite silently that his employee should see what she could do first. She didn't mind; serving at the counter was something she had become accustomed to. She liked to talk to people, and talking was how she learned what they wanted, and had to reconcile that with what they needed.

"Salve. What can I help you with?" Hilana greeted the slender looking Moonborn, who was looking around as they came in, inclining her head and shoulders. She may have been more deferential in her other job, but Zosoar preferred that she take up a much more brief manner here. The boss got what the boss wanted, and while she would be respectful, it was less fawning. Those who came in here came in for a reason, and while she wouldn't act familiar unless they were a regular who indicated such was an acceptable exchange. The pale elf with the dark hair was shorter than she was, and dressed relatively simply - they gave no indication as to their station, but even the lowliest Re'hyaean was above the loftiest Vastii, so the saying went. The client looked silently to Zosoar, where he leaned back behind Hilana, and while the half-elf met their gaze, he made no move to speak up. The elf took the hint.

"I need a paralytic. Something uncommon, better if it is fast-acting," the client spoke in soft, barely audible tones. "I prefer something exotic that is less likely to be stopped by a natural hardiness."
