Pahoran Taselia Rayunia
. . . . . Knight of The Dawnmartyrs . . . . .
Frost 70 125
He was back home after being away for a while. There had been much soul searching while away and on his own. Pahoran had spent much of that time pondering about his future. Pah was aware that he had always wanted to be a knight and that he had trialed for that, but he was also aware that he had always been around other members of the Knighthood. His recent trip, though he was still unsure how he had started it had separated him from that influence and gave him a chance to contemplate if that was really what he had always wanted to do. It was something he did want to do but he discovered that there was more to him then just that. He really did want to write. Put stories and thoughts down on paper. More then that he discovered and interest in knowing more about who he was and where he had come from.
His visit to the citadel had really awaken that in him. His mothers family had served in the Knighthood for generations. The bodies of his ancestors were buried there. His paternal grandmothers people had also for generations been in the knighthood and they to were laid to rest in the crypts below the citadel. His paternal side was a mystery though. His grandfather had known nothing about his father.
Only one clue had been given to them before his trip. A request to pay a visit to one of the great houses. Pahoran knew that he wanted to find out more and that he wants to follow up on that clue. So he had approached his grandfather on the subject. He had been silent for a long time before saying he to had always wondered on the subject even if he had long given up any hope of finding an answer to that mystery.
The two now flew on the currents above Kalzasi as they flew away from Dawnhold and towards the Ahtivin estates. Neither wore any of the trappings on there membership in the Dawnmartyrs not that at this point they would deny that membership, something that Pahoran felt relieved over. But this mission didn’t have anything to do with that at this point. It was a mission of discovery. There might be an answer there might be more questions. Who knew. Because of that they came in their regular cloths. Well made and clean they were still the clothing of simple wagoners. The two flew by each other until they came towards entrance of the Ahtivin estate.
A place that was peaceful but had a sense of sorrow from its tragic events. One couldn’t live in Kalzasi for long with out learning about its tragic past. As the two landed they both looked up at the estate with a gaze that showed mixed emotions. Pah felt a hand on his should and turned to see that his grandfather it was his grandfather and that he was smiling at his grandson. “Well my boy we have charged into battle but now we pause.”
“We know in battle that the options are life or death. Who knows what the options are now.”
“True my boy.”
“Okay let’s do this.” Pah said
Together they walked forward and presented themselves at the gates and asked if they could speak with Daizokura Marda Ahtivin. They were showed into a little room and left to wait to see if the matron would come.
