Appearance
Iakovos is a large man by human standards, towering easily over six feet tall, and built like the forested mountains he calls home. Resembling the heroes of old, he is strong and broad, muscled from life spent in harsh and demanding conditions, fending off monsters and chasing his next meal. As a hunter, his steps are careful and thought out. Aware he favors power over stealth, Iakovos is often seen donning neutral colors, never bright or flashy in fear of standing out, and his wardrobe remains tailored for purpose instead of fashion. As a result, he is often in attire crafted from the animals he traps - a smattering of cured leather, bones and fur. He prefers to remain simple and straightforward, often forgetting to trim his beard until it becomes bothersome and excessive and cares not for the upkeep a clean shaven face would require. His hair - a thick mix of earth and gold - is perhaps the only vanity he allows in honor of his fallen kinship, as it was a trait well known among his people.

Personality
Iakovos is a man of honor, just as any other proud citizen of Atinaw. When he gives his word, he follows through, determined to meet his obligations no matter the personal cost and can become quite thrown when others do not hold their word to the same honorable standing. In the same vein, laziness and dishonesty are surefire ways to get on Iakovos' bad side and as a rule, he prefers to work alone so that he can aim towards his goals without worrying over the trustworthiness of others.
Iakovos struggles to rely on anyone else, viewing dependency as a weakness to be addressed and prefers to face facts than emotion. Integrity being a core value, he believes in brutal honesty, even with unpleasant truths. Being blunt and inexperienced in expression outward affection, Iakovos can come across as cold or distant, a personality quirk that couldn't be further from the truth.
Quite a dedicated individual in regards to both his goals and his relationships, his loyalty becomes a target for less scrupulous company seeking to take advantage. Iakovos values and craves stability and security, likely stemming from his life in the hard mountains of Grimholdt, Atinaw, he considers it his duty to maintain smooth operation, willing to pick up the slack for those who aren't quite meeting his standard of work ethic. This translates to his relationships in wanting to make sure others are happy, healthy, and taken care of.
It should come to no surprise then, how family-oriented Iakovos is, encouraging and appreciative of traditional Atinaw values. Socially reserved, the idea of dating is not something that comes easily to him. On the contrary, it is an activity he often dreads, knowing the weight of finding a partner to bear children with. While the hunter has no distaste for those that favor many partners, fleeting dates and sleepovers are not his preferred method of romance, finding those encounters a bit too unpredictable for his tastes. He would be open to contract of partnership, but is a bit embarrassed at the thought.
