Relation to Sivan: Seasonal Contract
Disposition: Active, initiating, leading, independent, aggressive, impatient, combative, energetic, pioneering, naive, assertive. Though it be but simple, Khal is fierce. Saved from oblivion by Sivan and his deal, Khal is grateful to Sivan for its continued existence and for teaching it how to extend its life rather than burn up in an instant as its instincts demand.
Abilities
Fiat Lux: Khal is contained in Sivan's hearth for the duration of winter, being fed in exchange for light service. If Sivan is still in Kalzasi, Khal can answer a summons to provide light wherever he is.
Luceo Non Uro: Khal is learning moderation while in Sivan's service. Feeding on his aether as well as the normal fuel for fire, it is learning to burn more cleanly and more efficiently. It still doesn't want Sivan to be stingy with that delicious coal, though.
Thermodynamics: While always radiating heat for comfort and cooking, Khal can also trap heat within Sivan's cottage. It has leaks and drafts, but they no longer steal all the heat. When walking in or out the door, one can feel the edges of Khal's domain. Air passes through, but its power traps the kinetic energy within.
