Lyra frowned at the paper in her hands, reading it over once more before setting it aside with a sigh. Around her shoulders Artur hissed, his head peaking between the strands of hair as his black eyes stared down at the paper.

"I never cared for logistics, you know." she said to the snake, scratching its scales affectionately, "The scripts were all that I needed, and though I would often handle the upkeep of my own goods, I never wished to deal with the likes of this."

The papers across her desk were a series of ledgers and lists, each one marked and labeled in Lyra's own neat handwriting as she steadily tallied up her current inventory and expenditures. One paper was filled with names of inks, along with their prices. Another was a listing of vendors in Kalzasi that could supply the shop's various needs, with Jacun's Alchemy shop being near the top. Ledger upon ledger was scattered across every available space on the top of her desk.

Frowner even harder the more she looked Lyra finally stood and turned her back to the offending paperwork. Instead, she moved down the long hallway of her shop, stopping at a shelf near the end that was now half-filled with wands of various sizes. Next to the shelf was a large crate that held boxes of various sizes, items she had been working on for several days that we're finally ready to go out for display. These she began unwrapping one by one, placing them on the shelf in neat rows and checking the wards on the shelves themselves as she went.

The ledgers would be there when she got finished. For now, if Lyra saw one more table of numbers she was likely to set the entire shop on fire and start anew somewhere else...

A wandering. A simple meandering down the streets had led him to a shop of books and other various recordings of tomes and knowledge. Staring through the window, he glanced at the bookshelves behind the glass. A longing pulling him through the door. Pulling the cloak tighter around him as his eyes scanned the shelves. Each spine catching his attention more then the next. If he had the time and funds. He would buy and read them. But he unfortunately did not. Nor did he have a place to put them or any time to read them. It was an unfortunate case in moving to a new area. He was still learning. Still searching for the new things that surrounded his new home.

The learning had dragged him here. To this random shop. And now he was staring at tomes and books that he could not have. At least yet. He had spent far to much in the past few days and unfortunately for him. He wasn't immortal. His need for food and rest remained. The curse that was life. He was unaware that he wasn't alone any longer. Until he turned and saw the person who had come to occupy the space. A worker of some sorts. Stocking the shelves with various wares that now caught his attention.

Clearing his throat, he stepped around to stand a few feet from her side. "It's a pleasure to meet you. My name is Galius, the Seventh Son." He said. Glancing at the wards and items that now lined the forms. "This is a lovely shop. Do you own it per chance?." Turning back towards the shelves. The aura's that hung around were magical in nature. The aura of the human, herself was far more extensive then he was prepared for. Though he should figure that the owner of the shop like this would be magical in nature. With everything in the shop having it's own magical aura. "I hope that I did not catch you at a bad time."

When she heard the sound of the bell on the door announcing the appearance of a customer, Lyra felt herself relax. Without realizing it she had started to look for something, anything, to cut through the monotony of her day. Such was her dread of the things she worked on right now that she would even suffer the appearance of a prospective customer, even if they were of the most unlikeable sort.

When Galius entered she did not immediately look up but merely waved that he was welcome to look around. When he spoke to her, however, she paused. She recognized the voice, and when she raised her head he would see the distinctive tattoos that covered her face and hands.

"Ah, it is you Ork." Lyra said, straightening fully. From the folds of her hood, Artur raised his black head to flick his tongue at Galius. Lyra smiled slightly, setting a hand on her hip as she opened herself up and listened to the symphonies, "I am pleased to see you live yet. I never did thank you for your aid in the caverns below."

She looked him up and down, noting with appreciation his well-kept clothing and neat appearance. Her gold eyes reflected amusement as she looked up to meet his eyes, "I am indeed the owner of this shop, and I shall accept the compliment for what it is. Tell me, what brings you here?"

It was then that he recognized who she was. The mysterious woman that was in the warrens deep below. "I do indeed. Thanks to yours and the others help. I believe that thing maybe different if I was down there alone." Galius wasn't afraid to admit that he wasn't prepared for such a journey of his own. He maybe able to handle a brief trip. Dealing with simple, wandering undead. But wraiths that floated out of range were another question. Regardless of that fact. Galius had come for a reason and she had asked for that reason. It would be rude of him to keep her waiting.

"In all brutal honesty. I was just walking by and happened to notice it. But looking upon the things that are here. It has stricken up a curiosity." He paused for a moment. The subject was tricky at best. Some people were open to all kinds of magics. And with Lyra's aura, at least the quick glance he had gotten before, she was all kinds of magical. Taking in a breath before drawing back into the calm and structured man that he was. "I have a curiosity for all magics. A craving of knowledge in how all things work. But there is one that interests me more. At least at the time." Taking a moment to let his words settle.

"I wish to learn of necromancy." He said straight forward. Was it better to be brisk about such things? He wasn't fully sure. The social tendencies depended on the race and location of which people were. But even more so it depended on the individual and their upbringing. There was a value on being straight forward and honest in his family. They had little time for lies and deception. Though Galius had picked up a thing or two along his travels.

Artur flicked his tongue at Galius while Lyra turned her attention back to her task. She carefully set the last few wands on the table, taking her time to adjust them and align them in an appealing order. This was part of owning a shop she unironically enjoyed. The order of it, putting things in their proper place. Maybe it was counter to what one would expect, or perhaps for one such as her with so much chaos in her life the simple fact of putting things in their place was almost soothing. Unlike the ledgers, of course, which could rot for all Lyra cared for them.

"Necromancy?" She repeated, still looking at the arrangement of wands with a critical eye. "For what purpose?"

Seeming satisfied Lyra packed up her box, picking up and motioning with her head for Galius to follow her. They would walk around a corner and turn down another hallway, this one filled with books on shelves that all gave off a magical aura. This was her Grimore collection.

"The only sorts that wish to learn Necromancy are healers, and the more unsavory sort." Lyra said, setting the box down and beginning to collect the books off of one shelf into it, "Which are you?"
