32nd of Frost, 120 AS
Unfortunately for Pahoran, as a member of the Sky Guard, he was assigned to guard and monitoring duties for the festivities. Most of the day to this point had been uneventful. Fights around the Proving Grounds, accusations of fraudulent activities in some of the stalls, a bad case of spoiled meat pies served in the Plaza of Jeweled Arches, etc. As it was a festival Pahoran was allowed to wander the streets and participate in most of the festivities, though his patron Knight gave him strict instructions to not drink while on duty.
While wandering the Plaza a report comes in about an attempted break in at a small jewelry shop called the Polished Emerald. Pahoran is assigned the responsibility to investigate. The owner, Felma Green and her apprentice Lavin seem disturbed, though unharmed. Felma is a short and plump woman, quick to smile with a keen intellect. Lavin, on the other hand, seems somewhat slow though earnest. They report that it happened while they were out enjoying the festivities. Someone threw a rock into the display window of the shop, the sound alerting the proprietor of the Roasted Hen next door, who then called for the sky guard.
As of yet no one has entered the shop to investigate, and the state of the scene is unknown.
