Description:
The Imperial Stout is a beer well known in the Gelerian Imperium. It is a pure black brew, with a head that will range from deep brown to grey to black, depending on the temperature of what it is poured into. It carries a well-balanced blend of notes of coffee, licorice, and cinnamon. These flavors, all strong in their own right, are brought to the perfect mix to hide the fact that the Imperial Stout usually contains twice the alcohol content of most other beers, but one wouldn't know it by taste.
Methods of Creation:
It is brewed by a mixed family of goblins, of all three types, in the Gelerian Imperium. While the exact process is not known, it is known that one part comes from a root that grows deep underground, another from a beast that cannot be seen, and water from the deepest ocean. But that could just be a riddle goblins tell to mess with nosy people. Inside the Imperium, it sells for 3 coppers per pint, outside of the Imperium, it can run upwards of 6 coppers, a full silver isn't unheard of.
