To Health and Recovery

The late evening revelries out in the streets of Kalzasi filled the night as always, but within the main building of the Tranquil Gardens, things were quieter to a much noticeable degree. Patients in other rooms either coughed or wailed, from whatever ungodly ailments plagued them, as nurses and doctors shuffled about to scurry with their work. Make no mistake this place here was just as busy as the world outside was, but for the trio that had been admitted into one of the medical observation rooms; all sounds were muffled to almost a near silence in their wait for a doctor.
Telion stood near the window of their room looking out, admiring the bokeh of lights within the distance, as they even shimmered across the quiet waves of Lake Udori. The room itself was pretty standard in design, with white paneled walls with wooden flooring, a few chairs, and counters for storing any medical supplies. Hannah had taken to sit in the chair closest to the windows, likely because she didn't want to keep too far from Telion, while the wolf himself sat on the other side, with a lean forward and a mind certainly elsewhere.
"Does it still hurt?" Telion checked with Hannah first as she turned to inspect the scratches, where there were four thin but long rakes that went down along her spine. Her friend, however, simply shook her head softly, with the coin pouch tossed at her earlier fumbled into each hand thoughtfully.
"The pain's gone for sure, how about you... Wolfman?" The brunette assured the bard before checking on Ricker himself, who only briefly looked to the pair of women before lowering his gaze once more.
"I'm fine." Were the only words he gave to them, his thoughts spent on the moment the Iron Queen walked inside that room. He was so intimidated by her he almost felt the shivers lingering, a question as to whether or not he should actually heed the invitation that Aoren extended also lingered. Hannah seemed to sigh and toss the coin pouch she held at him, making the wolf actually jump when it pelted his left peck.
"Before you get any ideas, I've already taken out my cut for the jacket." The brunette remarked as she looked to the torn clothing on the arm of her chair, an irritable but reasonable look given to Rickter afterward. "The rest was meant for you." The wolf reluctantly looked down and picked up the pouch that'd fallen into his lap, thoughtful of the moment Sahfri had thrown it to her instead of him. Why? He had a rather small number of questions multiplying now, but also wanted to just get out of there and be done with his night.
"...I hope the doctor or nurse comes soon." He admitted as he tucked the pouch into his pocket, garnering a light chuckle from Telion as she turned to face him from the window.
"Don't like hospitals much?" She teased him, to which the wolf bluntly looked to her.
"Not really." He remarked to her in turn, crossing arms as he ignored the stings on his left shoulder.
