Durant is a man of immeasurable fortitude - and of a charismatic charm attributed to most men of Zaichaeri military backgrounds. He is a man who few can deny is good to those who serve under him, yet one who hails from a family can be traced to the glorious Gelerium Empire and makes sure others are aware he comes from old money. He is a man whose family has been one of the many pillars within the city-state since its founding.
Indeed, Sir Bismark contends with plenty of challenges and some animosity, and yet like many of his forebears, he has resolved to bring stability to Zaichaer and to help hold the leash on magical corruption and hold guilty parties accountable for their actions. For this reason, the common people and state mages alike revere him and his talents, looking to him with awe and admiration, which has kept those chapters under his command thoroughly loyal.
Durant is known to have years of battlefield experience, serving in the Air Defense Force before moving into Order. A brilliant military mind, he has demonstrated a talent for seizing, containing, and destroying rogue magical elements over his time in service. A man born to fight, he stands at a very tall stature and exudes power and authority to those who meet him. Aside from these undeniably intimidating outward features, however, Durant is an enigmatic figure and the majority of his life's early details are far from something he wishes to discuss and is minuscule compared to what he has accomplished already.
