Company: Talon| Thoughts: i'll repay you I promise| Mood: Gracious
龍 Hyoga could contain his excitement, immediately embracing Talon when he agreed to make the ring for him. Hyo never had something forged for him and the fact that he knew such an accomplished smith willing to aid him he was overjoyed. Letting the prince go his mind began to race on what would come with the ring, the kind of powers it would hold, and how it would look. It would surely become one of Hyo's prized possessions, besides his pact weapons of course.
He was so wrapped up in the possibilities of the ring he had forgotten to thank Talon.
"I truly appreciate you doing this for me your highness. I promise to pay you for your work once I can find some stable work. It's been kinda hard lately, jobs for me aren't lining up like they use to anymore and I'm starting to realize why." he said with a chuckle, one obviously to hide his current frustration at that truth.
Looking around he pondered a thought that came to his mind, then he proposed his idea to Talon.
"I tell you what, what if I help out around here, you know give your assistants some extra help when you aren't here? It's the least I can do." he proposed, not sure if Talon would even accept his offer.
It didn't seem as though he needed the help, but Hyoga wanted to be useful, as he knew Talon had to be busy given he was the prince of Kalzasi, so he didn't want to be a burden to him, but he wanted to show his gratitude to him.

Talon’s eyes widened. He let out a chuckle of surprise as he was embraced. Gently he pat Hyoga on the back, letting his hand brush over one of the man’s leathery wings. When he was released, Talon fluffed his wings and rolled his shoulders. He was unaccustomed to being hugged by people outside of his immediate circle. It had not been an unpleasant surprise but Talon’s first response was always to tense and brace himself for pain whenever physical contact was involved.
“It is alright, my friend. I am happy to make this for you. I have a project that will require I delve more deeply into elemental manipulation. This will help me get familiar with how to properly align the flow of those magicks so that I can finish the project.” Talon smiled. He blinked in surprise as Hyoga offered his assistance. At first, Talon was going to decline. He did not want Hyoga to feel as though he needed to prove he was somehow worthy of this item. Talon saw Hygoa’s worth already and the manufacturing of a ring out of simple dragonshard was something well within his ability to do. Listening to Hyoga further, it was clear to Talon that the man truly wanted to express his gratitude.
“I am in need of a pair of strong arms.” Talon reached over to lightly tap at one of Hyoga’s biceps. “You fit the bill perfectly.”
Stepping up to one of the rooms nearby, Talon gestured to a series of crates and shelves.
“These crates need to be emptied and the shelves need to be restocked with the raw materials inside of them.” Talon picked up a pair of elbow length gloves and handed them to Hyoga. “The crates at the far end contain dragonshards. They need to be assembled in the crystal case there at the end. Unload and organize this room and I will consider your labor as payment for my forging.”
He gave Hyoga a smile before turning to go to one of his workstations. Picking up the crystal, Talon began to study it carefully.
