Lyra grimaced slightly, "I know of him. Though I'd rather not... but when needs are great one does what she must."
She wouldn't admit it openly, but Lyra and Fletcher had a working relationship. He provided for much of her supplies in the realm of necromancy, and she, in turn, gave him discounted rates for special, and peculiar, requests. Lyra herself would never consider herself above the grotesque and cruel, yet Fletcher made even her skin crawl. There was something about him that seemed to inherently repel others, more than just his personal charm.
"I will make preparations." Lyra said with a nod, "If we go beyond the 2nd level we shall require a few particular items, but they will take several days to prepare properly. As for requests..."
Tapping her chin Lyra glanced around the office, "A new pair of Aura glasses, the highest grade you can craft, and..." she hesitated and then simply asked, "Can you craft with organic material?"

“I will have the glasses ready.” They were not particularly difficult to make on his part. The reshaping and refinement of auralyth was fairly standard when it came to the work of runeforing. Talon would add some of his own Semblance magic to augment its inherent capabilities and thus enable it to be a tier higher than what the crystal naturally enabled. At the subject of organic runeforging, Talon offered a nod.
“I can. Send me a list of the materials you are thinking of or at least a layout of the type of artifact you have in mind.” Organic components were common in runeforging. Talon had used the hides of beasts, their bones and even glands from various animals to achieve some of the effects of his artifacts over the years. What he could not or simply had no need to create artificially, he often searched for in the natural creatures that inhabited the Wildking’s Forge or even the Warrens. It was something that set him apart from many of the other runesmiths in the region. Talon quite frequently went out of his way to gather his components himself as opposed to paying others to do it for him. But he recognized that among mages, he was a bit of an anomaly given that he was both a warrior and a wizard.
“I expect our search will lead us deeper into the Warrens. I will be certain to pack a few extra things.” With that, Talon walked forward, touching a hand to the wall upon which he had erected his barrier. With a mental command he dismissed the shield that muffled noise leaving the room. He made a mental note to begin practicing his Negation skills more heavily. If they were going where he expected they would need to go, he had a feeling that the creation of strong barriers to protect them would be instrumental. Talon was not eager to delve into the deep reaches of the Warrens. They were places where mortals were not meant to go. But as he reflected on that thought he had to come to terms with a simple truth; he was no longer mortal. Not entirely, anyways.
Now he just had to break the news to his family. They would not be thrilled but given that his actions were to save a life...he hoped they would understand.
