Company: Petra, Yesod, Warren Beast| Thoughts: This is dangerous!| Mood: Determined
₪ Finally he could lay eyes on it, the thing that insulted his progress, threatened his advance forward. It was an ugly thing, tentacles and acid dripping everywhere, and a face that would be difficult for a mother to love. Thanks to Petra and Yesod, it was forced from where it was attacking from, allowing for them to go on the offensive.
He watched as Petra and Yesod took the demon's attention from him, the black robe in awe of Yesod and how he defended his summoner. Her attacks did the intended job, all Siorey needed was a moment of weakness, making his move to cleave its head, wherever that was in the tuberous mass of its body, from the rest of it.
He sees it wrestling with Yesod and Petra, and with her call from the darkness, he takes it. Rushing the beast he lashed at the back of it, to further disorient it. He found himself burying his sword into the beast from behind, stabbing it several times. He watched as acidic blood poured onto the ground causing Siorey to fall back to avoid it.
His body was ringing, Siorey not wanting to move, and his vision somewhat blurred from exhaustion as he struggled to stand. He was at the end in terms of strength left to fight, but he had to confirm it was out of commission before relaxing. Drudging up the strength, he found his way to his feet, hearing its death growls as the flames of life simmered until they were snuffed out.
Once it was finally dead Siorey found the chance to catch his breath, but more so the burning of the acid still hung onto his body. He decided to use another talent to stave off the pain and tapped into his Affliction rune. The colors of amethyst, emerald, & black glowed upon his right shoulder. For a moment, he fixed his mind and aether onto the acid. He focused primarily on the corrosive nature of it, the pain of it all and allowed his aether to pull it into his soul.
It was the first time he had effectively used this magic, realizing he was using Erosion. He could feel the pain and corrosive nature of the acid seeping into his very soul as it was tucked away for a later time. When the erosion had settled he felt better as if nothing was ever wrong in the beginning. Trudging over to where Petra was, he walked past petra heading towards the light at the end of the cavern corridor. "We need to move fast, less more of these bastards come upon us."
With a sigh and smile, he motioned for her to follow. ₪
