♅ She was rather perceptive, being able to tell Dante needed blood to sustain himself. His eyes remained on the woman as she made her proposal. He was intrigued by this, as she had no fear from him as if she knew he wasn't going to harm her, which in reality, he was fighting every urge to do so. Looking to Dimitri he gave him a glance that read "What do you think?" The young man shook his head, then came to whisper in his ear.

"We know nothing about this woman and who she is, what she has planned, or if she'll even keep your secret. I say you let me put a bullet in her head. You can't afford to have any loose ends, or anyone to hold your secret over you." Dante could hear the definite strain of concern in the young man's voice. Standing he placed a soft hand on the human's head. "I understand, but at this point, she has me at a disadvantage. I couldn't refuse her even if I wanted to."

It was a truth he had no choice but to admit, even if it was hard to hear. Walking up to Lyra he bowed to the woman, extending his hand out to her. "I see no issue in this arrangement, though i have one request. Teach me necromancy. I am an enthusiast in magic, and I am rather fascinated by this form." he omitted, hoping she would agree to this one request. "I feel it would be beneficial in my quest to see Zaichaer burn."

The thought of watching the city burn put a wicked smile on his face.♅

Lyra remained quiet during the pair's deliberations, though she raised an eyebrow at Dimitri's words. While she waited she absently studied her nails, frowning at the dirt and blood that had gotten under them from the work. Already her mind was turning toward the next tasks. She would need to set up a drop-off location, have a method arranged to deliver payment, and a place to store parts until she needed them. With a sinking feeling, Lyra realized she would need to speak with Fletcher directly over all of this, and she was not looking forward to the interaction.

She looked up when Ambrose walked toward her, tilting her head at the bow. She did not immediately take his hand, but rather considered the addendum to their partnership. Her immediate instinct was to refuse him outright, but his last words gave her pause.

"I am no teacher." She began as she always did when asked to instruct, but then shrugged, "But perhaps there will be merit to our arrangement, even if you lack the talent for it."

She pointed to the corpse, "I will provide you with enough training to do as I have done here, including how to prepare your basic materials. I will supply you with the tools and prepared soul gems, in exchange I will pay you extra if you extract the souls before delivering the bodies to me."

There was more there, but Lyra did not feel the need to elaborate further. She was curious about his connections with Zaichaer, but that information would come to her in time. If she did not have to extract the souls each and every time herself she would save much in the way of time, and she could focus on the other materials she required. Fletcher would be pleased by the additional bodies, and a few Lyra herself would use, but the real prize was the soul gems themselves.

She held her own hand out to Ambrose, a small smile touching her own lips, "Do we have an accord?"

♅ With a smile he gave a slight bow, his head leaning down to show her respect. "That we do." he whispered, his eyes looking upon the woman with an intriguing hunger. He couldn't help but wonder who she was as she held an air of majesty and allure about her. He found himself blushing almost as she exuded and deadly predator that ley behind her polite smile.

Picking up the corpse he hefted it over his shoulder, the wet grime that the body had been in beginning to seep onto his cloak and through it. "Shall we be done of this place? I'm rather eager to be out of here and back breathing normal air." he posed, looking to Dimitri, a nod of his death signaling the young man to ensure the dead man didn't have any friends waiting for them upon departure.

The young man acknowledged the nonverbal order of his vampyre master, and continued on down the corridor, his rifle poised and eyes vigilant. Dante wasn't certain what he was getting himself into, but that's what the beauty of this new life was all about, figuring out the world he never got to experience. Lyra seemed like she would be quiet the adventure, part of the young vampire giddy eternally just at the thought of the prospects.

"If I may ask, as I am still new to the city, s there a place where one could train their magic? It's one of the reasons I ventured to this city." yes, that was still the first order of business in the Kalzasi, to build his arcane strength. ♅
