☵ He could see the internal wheels turning in the young prince's head. He could see the validity of his words. Kotoru was relieved in that realization....at least he hoped that's what was being worked out in his mind. He wouldn't know how to explain to his parents about the plan and not being able to persuade the royal prince from such a dangerous idea.
As he proposed before their best bet in finding and killing this bastard would be in allowing them to kill again. It was a grim truth, but a truth nonetheless, and one the Prince was starting to understand that. There wasn't enough evidence to go and apprehend someone.
He himself would be on the lookout from now on, stalking this new quarry of his until they had enough to trap or kill this malicious beast. In any case, he wasnt sure how this was going to go, so he would have to consult his father on how to survey the city the best way in order to cover the most ground.
When the prince suggested they go and ask around the Guard station, Kotoru nodded. Nothing better could be done at this moment, and it wouldn't hurt to see if maybe, just maybe there would still be some semblance of clues that could have been left behind.
The next question that came shocked the young viper. The prince asked if he wanted to fly to the garrison, which made him fumble over his own words. He wasn't sure how to respond to that request. Should he accept that off, what would people say? Even though he didnt care less what others would have thought, it was more so his family name he was worried about besmirching.
If he was an orphan, he wouldn't care in the least but was very cautious of how his family was perceived. With a sigh he nodded in agreement, knowing the walk there would take much longer. ☵
