“Ah. That was not amongst the destinations to which I travelled…” Rhydian noted, sounding like he might have found that almost regrettable based on Akantha’s news about it.
“I aim to please.” Rhydian replied dryly, upon hearing that his selection served the princess’ personal interests in fashion even as it served his own aversion to breaking the routines that kept him feeling grounded.
He arched a brow, appreciating the subtle acknowledgement of his personal preferences and peccadilloes, even if he wasn’t entirely confident that her interpretation of their cohort aligned precisely with his own. Her circles were wider and her perspective on these matters was a far cry from Rhydian’s. Still he displayed no sign of those concerns and his rational mind was acutely aware that they were not worries of any particular gravity. He would come round to whatever was presented. He always did. Almost.
The question about invitations drew him out of his head and back into the present garden.
“Hm? Oh, no. No. Invite whoever you like. Within reason.” She’d already addressed his primary preference and she knew well enough to invite Karrhei and his other friends. There were few enough in his orbit it was quite simple to keep track of their number.
To Rhydian this was a duty, so his personal preferences were rather restricted to keeping it as manageable and tranquil as possible to ease the execution of those responsibilities.
“So, about this tailor you mentioned… Do you think you will have time to break away from the preparations long enough to make an introduction? I’m actually leaving for Aerion anon, so today would be best unless he isn’t opposed to providing overnight services…”
