"Helping with tea is definitely going to be appreciated," Lia smiled at Kalor and Sivan. "Hilana oftentimes works long hours, but I enjoy tea throughout the day... so that is very thoughtful." Between the three of them, they were bound to find ways to help him learn, but hopefully, that would be doable. Most of Hilana's pets weren't necessarily taught so much as conditioned - reptiles and cats tended to have a mind of their own, but her camel was a different story. But knowing the way that each responded was helpful to gently nudging Kalor towards the appropriate action so that he could be loved on even more and lavishly praised and encouraged.
"You're not wrong, though. Children always like to do things that seem fun, and many animals do, too... more flies with honey than vinegar, right? Though reptiles and cats tend to do what they will when they want, and we are expected to thank them for the privilege," the younger sister agreed. "That would be good, please, and thank you. If it would be easier, you could just leave a message at the Maze Manor here in Kalzasi, the House of Waves," Hilana suggested. That way a poor elemental wouldn't have to go that far to find her. "I stop by regularly, and they would let me know that the message is there. Or just leave it here, since the shop is open and I can stop in when I am in town." That he didn't mind the idea of her camping out in the garden was a relief, Hilana knew she was a lot to handle for people at the best of times, and she didn't want to exasperate him and ruin things. While Sivan didn't seem inclined to get upset too easily, sometimes she had a tendency to wear people down until they were on the brink, and that was the last thing she wanted to do.
"Is there a particular question about the laws that you are wondering about?" Athalia was curious. Considering how fairly reclusive Solunarium had been until recently, finding that information abroad may have been difficult. But they might know the answer, or be able to find it for him at home. When Kalor left the table and was at Sivan's feet, both Hilana and Lia peeked at him, curious to see what he was doing, but that only made them smile at him. "You are very smart and helpful," Lia told the spirit, offering him her hands in order to lift him back up again. "I think you will enjoy Solunarium, Kalor. And we will come here often to see Sivan," she added to reassure him.
Hilana was definitely making mental notes as Sivan explained what he could and could not eat. Pyrolyth they had tons of in Solunarium, and she knew where she could find it in the Expanse. "So in that vein of thought, would he find magmatyte a good snack? Or would you consider that one to be a bit too dangerous and volatile?" In Solunarium, they could get it, after all, but this was just being thorough. "But you're right about not snacking on others unless necessary... There are a number of spirits and Summoners in Solunarium, so not snacking on others is a good idea. Self-defense is one thing, but being hungry doesn't really count."
