Re: imperial life (open)

His idea worked, sort of, in a hazardous way to say the least. The wolf's ears rang for a moment when his shield popped from the sudden burst that pulsed off it, Florian's mighty powers setting off a reaction born on a scale much larger than what Rickter anticipated. Lampposts busted and threatened to crush the bystanders, the metal boxes they operated in all soon came to a screeching halt, right as the cafe store itself seemed to literally just shut down completely. Rickter hadn't realized it until now but at the core of all this tech, they still utilized magic as its makeup, only it seemed the Imperium's idealogy was more scientific. Yet despite noticing this, he looked warily out within the streets before he noticed the black wings that arrived.
They were beginning to get numerous now but that wasn't all, just as Telion had risen out of her chair with pure awe on her face, and Hannah rushed back out the entrance, Rickter felt the entire world around him shift as though things were pulled to a slow. Wha- He no longer had time to think let alone react, the wolf sensed a stillness come over his form that was unusually familiar. It was like being frozen. By the time he'd stilled he was about ready to reach out, but whether that was for Talon or calling his Pact Weapon; the wolf could no longer remember.
All he knew, was what likely came next. Talon had not only stepped in to reduce the collective damage, but like he always does, the Draegir performed a feat of great power for those he cared for. The flash of the nimbus was the last that Rickter saw, before he felt the world around shift once more. The sense of gravity altered on him next, and even if he couldn't have stayed to fight Rickter just wanted to reach out to him. Not this... Not now. Now when they were so close! The wolf's spirit wouldn't be able to take it if he were forced to leave his Shinzō like this again. He had made a promise after all, committed himself to that promise, only to be forced away into the spell that Talon cast with Archmagic.
Though he wanted to, with every lingering breath, Rickter knew it was useless to try and fight it now. With no time to even attempt he watched as the light flashed around him, and the one thing he'd came so close to securing was torn away once more.
