Imogen’s farewell well-wishes were met with Valæra’s consummately Solunarian reply:
“May you find comfort in Fate’s bequests.” Valæra doubted that Imogen would have enough cultural context to read the deeper Varværyn subtext, but she wasn’t here to evangelise and her mission was accomplished. To that end, she communicated her immediate needs across the many miles between herself and her mother. Within a matter of moments, the Vigilia Magna saw to the foremost and a portal appeared nigh of Valæra.
“Venite.” She instructed, before turning to step from this realm to her own.

REVIEW TIME
I would like to apologize, on behalf of the staff, to all players and staff that participated in this event and for those whose external plots were held up due to this event. Real life does, and must, come first, but that still does not feel great for the writers left in limbo. As such, I will be granting a large compensatory XP bonus to all the PCs involved. Additionally, I would like to clarify that the spinoff thread and the subsequent lack of disclosure and communication revolved around Hector having been found to be Metagaming. Moving forward, I hope that myself and the rest of staff can be more active, communicative, and transparent, particularly in matters as large as a global event. I thank you all for your unending patience and again, I am sorry. We will try to do better for the players that make this world of ours such a great place to play in.

All rewards and progression are revoked due to your acts of Metagaming. As for plot participation, I will leave that for Pharaoh to determine, if needed, should you return to play since you've left site prior to this review.
Hilana

Loot: Knowledge
Passive Ability - Chaotic Resistance: Hilana will find that her body, mind, aura, and magic, all things which are connected to her are noticeably more resistant to changes wrought by chaos magic and raw aetheric powers like those found in the Aetherium. She is not immune, but it is a significant boon and will see her chances of survival increased in all but the worst of such manifestations, as fits the story at hand.
Map Update - The Ink Blot: Upon Hilana's map, a small, black smudge will be seen and cannot be cleaned or magicked away by any means known to mortals. Should Hilana wish to investigate this further, she simply needs to feed her aether into this blot to discover she has a doorway into the Void that she may utilize freely. This doorway allows her to enter the Void and her map will update accordingly, and will return her back the way she came by way of pulling her aether back out of the ink blot.
Map Update - A Pestersome Breeze: Often when Hilana opens her map, a wind devoid of spirits and communication with Elementalists will blow from west to east, tugging firmly on the map and Hilana. After a few moments, it will disappear. Should Hilana wish to pursue this, she simply needs to follow this wind as far east as she can, then contact Aegis.
A Name - Rory: Saying the name Rory into the shadows will spawn a mod bomb from Aegis.
+1 Coin and a favored owed by Imogen
Injuries:
"Hilana's hands and the lower portion of her forearms just slightly past the wrists have been petrified. They are utterly agonizing at the moment. There is no saving them but they can be amputated and her hands can be restored either through necromancy, Vitalis or the blessing of a divine power. Regardless of how her hands might be restored, she will forever more experience periods of numbness, pain, stiffness (as though being petrified) as echoes of her brush with the Sundering."
Points: 200 XP, 100 may be dispersed into any magics of your choice if so desired. Do keep in mind the appropriate rules for expert and master leveling.
Comments: All rewards may be revealed to your PC at a time of your own choosing, since this thread finished so long ago compared to the current time. You can assume they've had them all along or that they manifest later on. It is entirely up to you.

A Valuable Memory - Carte Blanche: Should Imogen return to the Commonwealth and allow a Seer to extract her memories and add them to the public record for study, she will be heavily rewarded in a way of her own choosing. She may ask of anything within the Commonwealth's ability to grant and it will be so. If Imogen wishes to be a part of the research into the runes and language, she will be allowed to participate and all threads related to that will yield additional rewards, especially toward language learning.
A Magical Upgrade - Truly an Elder Witch: Imogen may take a 2nd magic to Grandmaster if she so wishes, so long as Reaving is one of them. This does not increase the amount of Grandmasters she may have in total, just allows her to increase the magic limit from 1 to 2.
-1 Coin and a favor owed to Hilana
Injuries:
"Imogen has suffered a Shattered Pact. Old wounds and new have opened all across her body in the form of lacerations, some of which have been crystallized into aetherite that will have to be pried from her flesh in order to fully heal. She is now in the throes of Medium Overstepping and any attempt to conjure or maintain her pact weaponry is utterly agonizing. Henceforth, whenever Imogen summons a shield or uses a shield, whether mundane or magical, she shall suffer blistering pain as though she is once again experiencing the echoes of her brush with the Sundering."
" Imogen's Shattered Pact and Shield are now restored, repaired in a method aesthetically similar to the japanese art of Kintsugi. It is physically stronger than it was before, and additionally, should it be used to defend against attacks similar to that which Shattered it, it will hold. "
" Imogen is revitalized and reinvigorated, her wounds now healed over with metallic scars forming."
