₪ Kimyōna Kiba ₪

Sphere: Eldritch
Rank: Lesser
Length of Contract: Seasonal
Disposition:
  • The Kimyōna Kiba are socially aggressive summons, always prowling about their summoner's surroundings. They like to lurk or stalk their summoner, observantly watching the movements and mannerisms of those around them. Communicating with them is rather simple, as they are akin to actual dogs. A positive answer comes from their right paw, and negatives are on their left. It's also of note that they are capable of responding to "yes or no" type of questions, but will often act on given commands from their own judgment.

Abilities
  • Whipping Mane: The tentacles that make up its mane have the ability to extend and retract several feet. These tentacles are used as whips to lash out at any foe within a 20ft radius of itself. These tentacles are soft and fleshy, and don't cause too much damage but will cause a foe to be thrown off or swept off their feet.

These abilities are too powerful for a Lesser spirit. Please refer to the explanation of Lesser Spirits from the Summoning article as follows:
Lesser spirits are stronger than minor spirits but not by much. They are typically entities with one to two paranormal abilities that are usually fairly generalized. (i.e. a celestial capable of levitating or a nature spirit capable of rousing their element to bothersome levels)
An Lesser Spirit is not very versatile in its ability to manipulate its given form. It is not powerful enough to really shift and warp its aether to allow for such dramatic transformations. A more appropriate display of ability would be the "lengthening/shortening" of its mane of tentacles to use them as whips or extra appendages.

The "Eldritch Fireball" needs to have a singular, direct effect. Compounding effects are beyond the scope of a Lesser spirit's abilities. Additionally, given that this particular spirit feeds off of anger/rage, I do not see the correlation between inducing Fear/Mind Altering Illusions resulting in believing they're on fire as being connected. Please reassess.
