Common Green Slime
Name:Common green slime
Habitat:Places with high rot presence.
Threat:Medium
Notable Abilities: The ability to split itself into functional smaller copies. A general ability to digest most anything.
Description:The other common threat that lurks within the channels of the Waterway is the Slime, a creature that hunts for its food throughout the entirety of the sewer system. Possessing a gelatinous body these fluid creatures vary in sizes from medium to large, the creature consumes a great amount of waste as well as any creatures it comes across, dissolving everything within the contents of it's body to nourish it over time. Slimes that live long enough to become huge tend to develop interestingly, as cutting them down causes them to split into multiple bodies, each acting in synergy as though their were still one single entity.
Slimes are essentially what cull the sewers from overpopulation with rats, keeping the ecosystem balanced enough for mortals to traverse the systems. Though not everyone makes it out alive, for the gelatinous creatures are always lurking to find their next meal. Sometimes if you've come across an enormous Slime, you just might be lucky enough to discover Pesticyte dragonshards growing within their bodies.
Predator/decomposer
Size Ranging from small enough to put in a bucket and take home to large enough to fill your room and eat you. The slime tends to grow as large as its environment will allow it. It's ability to split chunks of itself off whenever it outgrows it habitat makes it simple for the creatures.
Reasons to interact Pesticyte dragonshards are perhaps the most lucrative and obvious rewards. The slime can digest most organic materials and a fair few inorganic ones. Metals are in a strange mid ground, Unable to fully consume most metals the slimes will compress the metals it ingests over time into a green Slime core.
Recommended Stats Many a rookie have cut there teeth on smaller slimes. at least one novice combat ability paired with some skill should get the job done for all but the largest green slimes.
