Verowa End is one of the residential neighborhoods of the Knob, nestled between Kara's Cull and Sheckle Alley. It's proximity toward the interior of the city has led it to be more of a middle class area, compared to the lower class areas of Kara's Cull, Smoke Stack, and South Coalway. Many of the buildings and architecture fit the aesthetics of the interior of Zaichaer, built of stone and adorned well.

Verowa End was originally destroyed during the Sundering, but was rebuilt by soldiers who had sought a safe haven in order to settle down. While many of these soldiers had originally been on the opposite sides of various conflicts, they had found a common goal of building a place for all of them. This has led to their descendants and families living here as well, maintaining their old traditions, but learning and growing from those around them. The original settling soldiers were largely Hobgoblin, Lysanrin, and Orkhan.

Verowa End has always been kept under the scrutiny of the Order of Reconciliation due to the large concentration of soldiers, but there has never been an incident. The area is kept orderly and neat, traditions passed down from the original settling soldiers. It is expected that those that live here learn to fight and keep their bodies and minds strong. Many of the residents take it upon themselves to help keep the Knob safe, and all those in it.

In recent days, however, there seems to be a collective yearning among the populace. They are tired of the treatment by the Zaichaerians, despite following the law and cultural practices of the land. They do not view themselves as outsiders and yet are treated as such. They long for a leader it seems, one that can guide them to something better than what they have now.
