Description: About the size of a coyote these Howling beasts are more pest than threat to most humans. These dog like creatures are similar in intelligence and capability to canines with a few exceptions. Their flesh is not like that of a boars their hairs sharp and bristly to the touch. Not the most fearsome threat of the wilds but not one to be underestimated either they have a basic cunning when it comes to hunting often chasing prey to known dead ends or other predators all the while tormenting their perceived prey with awful rasping cackles. These creatures are more concerned with consumption than hunting and can often be distracted with a sufficient meal that is more convenient for their prey, even if it's been dead for some time.
Notable Abilities: They communicate amongst their pack with their laughter adeptly sharing information and tactics while hunting. They have excellent night vision.
Reproduction The Ohma often make monogamous pairings for life. They breed in the fall and early winter giving birth in the spring seasons. An Ohma is fit to breed in its second year of life.
Size The Ohma grow to be between two to three feet tall, with their length capping between four to five feet.
Reasons to interact The Ohma are not unlike boar in flavor and many people who make their lives beneath the ground consider them the other pork. they are often nuisances or threats to someone already weakened than anything else. The Teeth of the Ohma hardened for cracking bones to get marrow, make for excellent arrowheads due to their shark tooth like shape.
