The Knob's End Nursery
The Knob's End Nursery sits tucked away on the edge of the Bulge, hidden by old, crumbling houses and overgrown brush. A dilapidated greenhouse sits behind a rickety wooden storefront, both of which appear all but abandoned. In reality, it is actually an active business that thrives from word of mouth, growing herbs, spices, flowers, and other plants for a wide variety of customers, ranging from cooks to alchemists. The store sells a mundane selection of common herbs and medicinal plants at the front, which sell at the average market value price. More exotic varieties, however, can be grown at the buyer's request, though often at a steep price. Many of these commissions tend to be for rare, illegal, and even magical species. For this reason discretion is paramount to it's business and customers who wish to buy this service, especially if they are not Knob residences, may need to provide references or earn the trust of Ma'am, the discerning and paranoid owner. The nursery is active all year round, though prices for commissioned crops increase in Ash and Frost.

A bitter human woman with a touch of Orkhan ancestry, Ma'am is the owner of the Knob's End Nursey, running the business with a close eye on both her employees and customers. She is suspicious of most and confides in no one, considering even basic small talk an invasion of privacy. Regardless, she is a highly knowledgeable Botantist and Herbalist who has perfected her craft but is crippled from years of drug abuse and a multitude of degenerative diseases, all of which cause her to look older than she appears. Despite having the means to treat these afflictions, she shuns them out of her great disdain and distrust of magic, instead relying on folk remedies that provide limited relief. She does not let her prejudices impede her business, however, tolerating the magical out of the substantial profits it earns.
