In lieu of the 15,000gp value magic item, could Caza find a cursed item of some sort instead? It can be a surprise, I have no desire to know what it might be, so could be fun for a mod to conjure up what it might be. It's largely for a plot catalyst, so the actual effect doesn't matter (to me) , so long as it is... "Curse-y"

Well, my suggestion would be to devise a magical item that has a curse-like effect that is similar to other items listed on the price list in scope. The curse effect doesn't have to be extravagant. It could be as simple as a shiny ring that compels your character to steal or removes a certain inhibition.

I am going to allow you to propose the item yourself because it is always best, in my opinion, to see the direction you are wanting to go with the overall curse effect. This can help me see kinda what you're looking for in terms of story purposes.

Touch of the Everwilds
Physical Description: A simple bracelet with a pale blue stone wrapped in leather bands. Will inherently fit whoever wears it, so long as it is worn on the wrist or ankle (should such appendages exist).

Curse: The Touch of the Everwilds came from the Everwilds and longs to return. Whoever is wearing the bracelet will find an obsession taking over. Should the wielder know that a person is Fae (it must be knowledge they've gained, the bracelet provides no knowledge itself), the bracelet forces an obsession upon the wielder. This obsession causes the wielder to latch onto the Fae, so to speak, driving the wielder to stay with the Fae. This obsession will automatically refocus on the next Fae that the wielder meets, always obsessed with 1 at any given time.

Removal: Removing the bracelet stops the curse's effects. Entering the Everwilds while wielding the bracelet is believed to also stop the curse, though this is speculation.
