Description: Weston Thorpe has been in the military from the moment he was old enough to sign up. He comes from a long line of military personal, though they are all dead now. Weston served proudly, spending most of his time at the borders of Zaichaer's territory. Through his many acts of leadership and valor, he managed to earn himself a spot among the officer ranks, fending off many skirmishes and retaliating in kind. However, in one particular battle with a group of separatists, Weston had his arms blown off while capturing their leader.
After his recovery and his prosthetics were installed, Weston was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel, with special commendations for heroism, and promptly given a desk. He diligently worked at his tasks, but the looks from his superiors and coworkers were nothing but pity. He asked repeatedly to be put back in the field, but was constantly refused, with that same pitying look. He continued to strengthen his body, worked hard to try and prove himself, but refused over and over and over. Eventually, he had enough and retired from the military and began spending his pension on drinking himself into a coma.
And that's how he met Franky.
Weston is friendly enough, particularly with the staff. He genuinely cares for those that work for him and Franky, but he would never say so. He rarely ever opens up about himself, and if he does, it only comes out in small bits and pieces. He is helpful, picking up a shift in any of the spots in the tavern if no one is able to make it in, and he does so without complain. He does hold high standards for himself and often holds others to them, causing some conflict. He can get particularly harsh if he feels a worker's words or actions threaten the teamwork and camaraderie of the staff, and is a firm believer of cultivating true loyalty among the staff. His free time he usually spends alone.
