Nasiim's Tower

Nasiim's Tower is one of the biggest disappointments to the youths of Kalzasi. It is a small, unassuming tower, tucked in the middle of a backwash from the combined river mouths of Dorachen's Flight and Fae Falls, where they meet Lake Udori. It has stood on this place for longer than either Kalzasi or Zaichaer have existed, survived the Sundering, and has otherwise been unchanged for century after century.

It has had many local legends tied to it among the youths of Kalzasi. Some say it was built by the first gods as an example of how to teach people how to build buildings. Others say that it was carved from the phallus of a fallen Dragon God, as a memorial to its greatness. And others still, particularly among the young Avialae, like to use it as a place to escape to in order to partake in drugs, tell stories, and engage in sexual proclivities. It is considered a rite of passage among many. But otherwise, it is simply an old tower that has an unknown history and is otherwise ordinary in every seemingly obvious way.

Due to its proximity to Kalzasi, archaeologists have combed over every inch of it and have found absolutely nothing that stands out about it. It is believed to have been built in the Age of Wonders based on the architectural style. But otherwise, it is largely an unassuming tower in an unassuming area of the world.

Players' Note

The first use of this location will require a moderated thread with Aegis. Recommended a group of 3, with a maximum of 4.

Moderator's Note
This location is effectively a progressive, moderated dungeon crawl locale. In order to unlock the dungeon crawl feature, a moderator must be present and active. Otherwise, it is simply a boring old tower.

1. One group at a time may *properly* enter the tower.
2. Time functions differently within the dungeon crawl portion of the tower. Until the completion of the dungeon crawl thread(s), the PCs can progress their lives as normal, as though nothing happened to them in the tower. When the thread(s) finish, the consequences and rewards will inflict themselves on the PC in the current time at a date of the Writer's choice.
3. The tower is far bigger on the inside than on the outside. It contains an infinite number of floors that rise upwards.
4. Each floor will contain 3 Unique Artifacts of a magical or divine or similar nature. These should be determined before the floor is activated for the group. Once an Artifact is claimed, subsequent versions cannot be obtained. If Artifacts go unobtained by a group, later groups can acquire them if they do that same floor.
5. Each floor will contain a singular theme and a Primary Objective for moving onto the next floor. It should be noted that the Primary Object and the 3 Unique Artifacts do not necessarily need to be tied together, and likely shouldn't be.
6. Upon successful completion of a floor, the PCs will receive a tattoo upon their person marking their progression. If the PC returns to the Tower, they and all accompanying members will continue the dungeon crawl at the floor level of the highest completed tattoo.
7. Upon completion of a floor, the location writeup will be updated to reflect current progress, as well as what Artifacts, if any, have been discovered.
