۞ The goal to prove himself was even harder for a young Avialae like him; he had lost his mother in a fire. He had nowhere to go, no family to take care of him. He was alone, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from aspiring to become someone great. He had been camping for days in the Crystal Forest, hoping he would be able to find the creature, contracted upon the noticeboard of Kalzasi.

Rumors had it that a half scorpion, creature with luminescent tentacles appeared to be lurking within the forest. It is said to be an ancient folk tale of a Animus who overstepped during magical trials. Most people would call it a bedtime story for children who would aspire to be mages, reminding them of the dangers of overstepping. However, this was reality; there was no fun and games about this creature, it was real.

Real deadly.

The warnings on the contract indicated it's features. Luminescent tentacles with tiny hooked barbs, enough to lash into your skin and fill them with a potent neurotoxin. It is clear that this was a dangerous foe for a young Avialae like him. He had a inch of adolescent muscle on him, but his naivety may also cost him.

He shifted as he noticed the creature from a distance. The luminescent tentacles can be seen from a mile away through the thick dusky fog, as if they were beckoning him to come close. It was time. He followed the creature further to a cave as he tilted his head. The luminscence could be seen from a mile away as it disappeared around the corner. He stood there for a moment in thought as he took a deep breath.

"This is it..." He said with the contemplation of fear as was about to walk in alone. He knew he needed to do this, or he'd end up a poor destitute Avialae with no aspirations. A shame to society as he thought.۞
