Description: Slime cores are neither a heart nor organ to the slime but a lifetimes collection of indigestible precious metals that has been churned in the slimes gut for who knows how long. The green slime's core is a rough slightly rubbery and bouncy orb. Its crystaline looks spite its actual soft and rubbery texture one would be hard pressed to cut themselves on it.
Uses: Many a child has played with the smaller cores, a bouncy near indestructible ball of fun. Many a surface dweller has bought one unaware of the toy's origin.
Furthermore Slime cores are in fact fineable into a purer state, shedding its crystalline and bouncy nature for a translucent green metal with an incredibly springy nature. Valued both for its defensive qualities and artistic value.
Value: Slime cores range in sizes from small marbles to pumpkins so weight is usually the deciding factor in price. A Slime core as large as the average apple weighs a whopping 5 lbs.
One can make a decent amount of coin for these as a novelty expecting 5-10 silvers per 5lbs. To a smith who knew its value and had the skill to work it, easily double that
