Chitter Nuts
Name: Chitter Nuts
Description: Small mostly hollow nuts with small seeds that rattle inside the nut when the fruit is ripe.
Size Similar in size to a walnut up to an inch to an inch and a half in width usually
Notable Abilities: Salty and Nutrient dense the Chitter nut grows basking in the earthen energies of the warrens first deep feasting on the nutrient dense soil. The shells sponge off all excess nutrients making sure that the seeds they contain get the perfect amount of nutrients to grow. The rattling these trees make when their fruits are ripe is incredibly cacophonous.

Habitat: Earthen elemental rich areas. Particularly the warrens.
Reproduction The seeds fall from the fruits when they are ripe and grow new trees as is standard.
Reasons to interact The shells of the Chitter nuts are incredibly nutrient dense but very hard. When boiled they add a salty earthy flavor to the stew and soften considerably into a somewhat chewy nutrient dense protein.
