Very curious indeed, word was abuzz the Chisuo estate that one of Shuai cousins had gotten herself a pet. It was during a walk outside to get that fresh Glade air when she tripped over something. No need to feel sorry for the animal, it was not what the girl had stepped into but its nest had ended up ruined. At first she thought she uncovered something which had been buried by the snow and someone else and decided to put her hand into the hole. Shuai did not know why everyone was saying it was brave and commendable for a girl to do something like that, if he did the same he would get ear chewed off because his arm could be chewed by whatever beast hide in holes but maybe it was because the girl got something out of this fortuitous encounter. One of the cutest things ever. A bunny! When she found it, it was still sleeping off the Frost although the girl unfamiliar with animals thought it had been inflicted some sort of malady and decided to bring it home to help it. And that would be the brave and commendable thing for her, not that she brought back a bunny but because her first thought was to help it. Maybe its looks had something to do with making her unafraid of touching it too...Well Shuai thought this was a very unfair turn of events. She did a thing which, she had only been praised for because it turned out well for her. Shuai in his more adventurous moods however never ever got anything except dirt all over his clothes and a good scolding because it was unbecoming for nobles. The boy could reminisce of how he was usually treated or on how his cousin was currently being treated. One a positive and one a negative. Envy over his cousin prevailed and he decided to pay a visit to the other family's courtyard. What? Did someone think that his cousin was a positive? What could have brought on that idea if all he had been saying about his cousin and her bunny the whole time was "I want a bunny. I need a bunny! How can I get a bunny? What's a bunny?" That's right, Shuai had yet to encounter a bunny and he did not even know what it was and yet he wanted it.
And arriving at the courtyard only made the pet more desirable to him because just like him, there were a lot in the estate who wanted to see it. Overhearing some nearby conversation, the chatter was the little girl and the bunny made a lovely pair, especially when the former started to wear more of the Chisuo formal garbs to make them both match in appearance. His cousin greeted him warmly when the boy arrived and as per his request took him to see the bunny where it rested. But caution for the young boy.Mudball is resting and should not be woken up.What was a mudball? Was it like the snowballs he had been tossing around in the Frost? Close but no. The girl regaled her cousin and the other curious onlooker of her encounter and as everyone there would expect, it was always good to hear it from the source. A lot more had happened than just the tale of her walking into the burrow and finding it there. It was beautiful to hear and the girl had knack for storytelling. Had she not been born into a noble house she could surely survive working the streets. Alright that was really wrong, her work would be in storytelling and busking, respectable jobs to provide the masses their entertainment.
How it started was as follows. With old Frost making way for Sister Glade, the girl decided to get first picks of the new blooming flowers to brighten up her family's courtyard and make it more auspicious for the rest of the year but not just for her family but the whole estate of Chisuo. Dawwwwww. Unfortunately her efforts did not yield her any reward as it was hard to find flowers just at the turn of the season and what more one in full bloom? But the energetic girl would not lose hope in her search and hearing the lively chirping of birds through a path downriver, she decided to check it out because where there was activity, there would be life. It was as if the path opened up to her her when the snow in the ground had turned into solid ground the longer she went on with the birds perching close to get a look at her. It was there she found it, the untouched garden.
