Overview
Duh’Nahra was an Kishoi Mortallen artificer and scrivener who discovered an ancient art of weaving the art of artificing into magic. Dun’Nahra was a pioneer artificer in her time and has dedicated her work into helping others with artificing. During the reign of the Clockwork Empire, she developed a powerful weapon called the Enicrux; a powerful artificer's core that has the ability to absorb aether. Whilst also absorbing this aether, the golems will also gain the magical abilities.
Duh’Nahra thought this was too powerful for the world to use and quickly hid it from the world. She built a temple in the Clockwork Wastes to hide her creations that she made, for fear that the Clockwork Empire would use it to inflict terror and pain into the world. To protect her secrets, she created rows and rows of artificing golems, encoding them with the ability to kill anything that crossed her path. She would continue to build until the final stages of her life, know she has filled her temple with an army of artificing golems by her side. She died tragically within her last years of regret and starvation, knowing she has brought an forsaken weapon into the world. Her guilty legacy has left a scar on the world, knowing that one day someone would come to retrieve the Enicrux.
The Clockwork Empire tried to uncover these secrets, but were cut down by Duh'Nahra's relentless intellect. Her army of golems she made before her untimely death proved useful in butchering any man who entered her laboratory. To this day, people still search for the Enicrux, believing it is the answer to the liberation of war on Ransera; however there are some people who would use it for the wrong reasons. To create an enmasse of Tyranny, many people from Zaichaer and the Imperium tend to search for this long lost core, hoping it would provide them with the use of obtaining weapons against magic.
The Enicrux
The Enicrux is described as an amplifier of magical energy; a golden orb that glows when in the presence of aether; inside the orb is a mark scrivened by Duh’Nahra which allows the orb to absorb aether from its rider and both incoming sources. It is powered by pylons on each side that allow the aether to be transferred from the golem rider to the golem itself, amplifying the rider’s magical power within the space of the golem.
It also has the power to do this in reverse by absorbing the aether of mages who cast spells within the proximity of the golem. This could open the possibilities for prospects of war and change, using this as a form of anti-magic. Duh’Nahra realised what she had done with her creation and the guilt she felt for creating such a thing.
The Enicrux can be recreated and mass-produced if another scrivener were to figure out the coded pictograph of the Orb. However this may be difficult as the orb is made from a warped crystalline material, which makes the mark difficult to see. The only way, Duh’Nahra depicted this would be a code of sound resonance; certain sound frequencies make the orb sensitive enabling for the exact pictograph to be projected into the real world, along with the knowledge and blueprints of the golem craftsmanship process.
One must figure out the exact sound frequencies in terms of musicality in order to open the secrets of the orb.
