Description
This relic of another realm is a dark black cloak entwined with crude chains dangling from within the cloth. It emanates an aura of otherworldly power. Not much is known of this relic’s history before it was recovered from the crumbled ruin of the Lithiricus' lair. It is confirmed to hail from the realm of Apocrypha and is believed to be made by some being of power within the realm. Lost or stolen countless years ago, the cloak fell into the possession of the Lithiricus and was in his lair when the place was destroyed. Protected by its powerful enchantments and latent miasma, the cloak remained unharmed waiting for its next bearer…
Abilities
Pull of Apocrypha: The cloak animates and tugs gently when anything from Apocrypha is within a half-mile range.
Miasma Chain: When a creature dies by the bearer’s hand or when the bearer goes to a place of strong miasma, the cloak saps the miasma from the area or dead creature creating links in the chains attached to it.
Fade Echo: The bearer of the cloak can expel one link in the chains to reveal fades of the surrounding area’s past.
Soul Chain: Alternatively, the bearer can store souls in a number of links equal to the mastery of their strongest skill or equivalent power level with the same functionality as soul gems.

Soul Chain ability store a soul based on their highest skill level costs 1-5 Links

2 Links - Apprentice
3 Links - Journeyman
4 Links - Expert
5 Links - Master
