Family Bloodline Request

Hello, I would like to ask for the requirement to apply for a family bloodline? I just followed the format of the one in the wiki:
Sigeric Wralux, the swordmaster. A peerless swordmaster born at the height of the Clockwork era. Before the Sundering, Sigeric served as one of the commanders of the Clockwork Legion. The Sundering took away everything he held dear; his family and country. With the Empire in shambles, he had no one to answer to but himself. He traveled throughout the broken continent, pushing the limits of his swordsmanship, fighting monsters and men alike without worry.
The descendants of Sigeric inherited his swordsmanship trait, which remained dormant until the descendants reached the master level of their swordsmanship. The descendant would gain a +20 XP to their sword skill at mastery. However, the true potential would be unlocked once the descendant reached the pinnacle of their swordsmanship (Grandmaster/beyond), adding an extra ability at each milestone (development of abilities would be subjected to review from Staff).
That's the general idea by the way, feedback and input is really appreciated. Thank you

Hi Leon,
I don't see any issue with coming from a family that has an affinity for swordsmanship. However, in keeping with the established themes present in the overall write-up of Bloodlines, I would require that you choose a specific ability or an XP bonus. I would also limit that XP bonus to +10 XP at max.
My recommendation is to consider the techniques that this ancestor would have developed and with what type of swordplay.

Hello Paragon,
Thank you for the inputs. I've revised the second paragraph, here goes.
The descendants of Sigeric inherited his swordsmanship trait, which remained dormant until the descendants reached the master level (100 XP) of their swordsmanship. Sigeric's swordmanship focuses on using the longsword.
Description of technique/ability:
Name: Shattered Blade
Description: The Shattered Blade is a ferocious and relentless longsword technique that focuses on overwhelming the opponent with a flurry of quick and precise strikes, exploiting their defenses and pushing them to the brink of exhaustion.
Execution: The fighter adopts an aggressive stance, their longsword held with a firm grip and a steely determination. They initiate the Shattered Blade Assault by launching a rapid series of alternating cuts, thrusts, and slashes with blinding speed and precision. The fighter's strikes are executed with calculated efficiency, targeting vulnerable areas such as the opponent's limbs, joints, or unguarded openings. Each blow is meant to weaken the opponent's defenses and wear them down, incrementally sapping their strength and resolve.
The Shattered Blade technique emphasizes speed, agility, and adaptability. The fighter seamlessly transitions between offensive and defensive actions, using swift footwork and fluid body movements to maintain a constant pressure on the opponent.
The technique incorporates intricate swordplay maneuvers such as feints, parries, and ripostes. The fighter deceives the opponent with deceptive movements and subtle misdirection, setting up openings for devastating follow-up strikes.
The Shattered Blade technique relies on the fighter's exceptional reflexes and split-second decision-making. They must read their opponent's movements, anticipate their reactions, and adjust their attack patterns accordingly to exploit weaknesses and break through their defenses. As the assault progresses, the fighter intensifies the onslaught, increasing the speed and aggression of their strikes. They aim to overwhelm the opponent's ability to effectively counterattack or find respite, constantly forcing them to react and defend.
This technique will be the foundation for the descendant's journey toward unlocking the true swordsmanship (300 XP) of Sigeric Wralux, the Peerless Swordmaster.

Approved. I look forward to seeing the development of this technique across gameplay.
