Frost 21st Myles dreamscape.

Another night of fitful sleep is punctuated by the familiar pillar.

Opening his eyes Myles felt himself hanging from the chains of the ashen pillar, restrained once more, but something was different this time. No cultists… no sounds but the wind. Pulling against the chains Myles yanked against them and they crumbled to rust as if time innumerable had taken it’s toll on them. Taking up a tattered black cloth from the ruined courtyard he found himself in he tied it around his waist clothing himself.
Silence… the small village with its sacrificial pillar in the center seemed empty now… With no real direction and no desire to be in the village any longer Myles followed the road out of it into the deep forest that surrounded the hamlet. The sun had set and the clouds seemed to be bathed in an eternal crimson glow that cast the world in a malevolent werelight.

Walking own the thin trail Myles occasionally glanced over his shoulder at the ominous sacrificial pillar he’d been scorched upon before. It seemed that no matter how far away from it he walked, it never grew smaller in the background. The trees of the forest were thick and in many places it seemed that it was near impossible to leave the thin trail due the denseness of the underbrush and trees. The skin on his neck prickled with paranoia, he couldn’t shake the feeling he was being watched, weather it be the forest or the ashen pillar looming in the distance, never out of sight to spite the distance gained.

Letting his feet fall quicker and quicker Myles began to run holding the black cloth about his waist tied tight as he ran his eyes scanning the trees for any threats. Ever watching the looming pillar glowering in the distance.

Isolde was confused. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was falling asleep in her bed at her cottage in Kalzasi. The forested jungle was bright and colourful, the sky was dark with a singlur glowing moon. She surveyed her surroundings, and she paused at a pillar. It looked to be close from where she currently was.

Isolde took a step in the direction of the pillar and tripped up over her own legs. She stared down at her arms– paws... Why was she in her beast form? She stood back up and shook out her body, before heading in the direction of the Pillar. Walking in her beast form came natural to the Assassin. Each footfall was soft and quiet as she walked towards the Pillars. The forested jungle felt like home, but this place was a little strange.

The closer she got to the Pillar, ash and soot began to cover the trees and the ground she walked on, and the sky began to brighten into day. At first it was a thin layer of dirt, then it got thicker and thicker until her paws was covered in ash and soot, and the trees where decayed with not a single leaf on their branches. Red embers swayed in the breeze, they didn't seem to go out with the wind, either.

However, she was curious about the Pillar so she carried on, but no matter how far she walked towards it. She felt like she still wasn't close enough to it. The Rathari continued on, she walked to it lazily as she did not feel like running. She'd get to the Pillar eventually. Possibly find out where she was from there.

The scent of ash and smoke blocked her sense of smell from being able to smell other things. Her eyesight was keen, searching her surroundings to find anyone. Then she heard footsteps, fast paced footsteps, someone was running through the forest, heading straight for the big cat.

Wherever she was. It was getting stranger and stranger.
