Ivar found himself bouncing down the street, heading towards Luna's place. She had this really cool cottage at the edge of town, sort of tucked away from all the noise and stuff. It felt chill, somewhat quiet, and it just felt, well, it felt like a good place for a home. And then there was the garden. He thought Luna would be in there if she wasn't neck-deep in her magic books.
As he strolled up the little stone path, he couldn't help but stare at the place. He thought the cottage was nice. He wished he had his own home but then again he supposed he could afford one if he didn’t spend all his time at school. The neighborhood was nice enough to feel like he was being pulled in too. He laughed a little to himself. He didn't usually get all mushy like this, but Luna... well, Luna was different.
Finally, he was at the door, giving his hair a quick sweep back. He was feeling a bit jittery, because he'd never asked a girl out for a walk before. This was not supposed to be romantic but he could not help but hope that someday things would be. It wasn't exactly normal stuff, but then again, Luna wasn't just a normal girl, and he hoped that what they had wouldn’t be just a normal friendship.
He knocked on the door, listening to the sound echo. He really wanted her to say agree to come along with him. He wanted her to go on a walk with him during their break from school, away from the classrooms, the libraries, and all that magic. He wanted it to be just Ivar and Luna, just two friends, hanging out on a nice day. With the small sprinkle of crime if he could play his cards right.
