Brewing trouble in an alleyway

Ivar was in an alleyway, waiting for Luna. It wasn't like a creepy, dangerous alleyway or anything. It was actually pretty nice, all things considered. It had bricks that were all different colors and there were even a couple of flowers growing out of cracks in the stone. He figured it was the perfect place for someone who was up to no good.
There was a rumor going around town. Apparently, there was some sneaky thief who'd been nabbing stuff from people. The sneaky dude wasn't sneaky enough though, because Ivar heard he liked to bolt for this alleyway. It made Ivar think that he lived around here or just liked this path. Ivar had a plan. He wanted to catch the guy in the act, with Luna's help, of course.
Not because he wanted to be a good guy but because there was money to be made. As he waited, his eyes kept darting around. He was looking out for Luna, sure, but he was also keeping an eye out for the pickpocket.
The alleyway was quiet, except for the occasional rustle of a breeze through the few brave flowers. It was kind of exciting, being on the lookout for someone causing trouble. His heart kind of did a little jump in his chest when he saw a girl walking by but it wasn’t Luna.
As the woman walked over, Ivar tried to keep cool. He gave her a grin, gesturing to the alleyway like he was welcoming her to walk by. The woman gave him an odd look.
“Good day ma’am. Don’t mind me.”
He got a nice look at her behind as she walked past. Damn he wished he could get a woman like that. He had to remind himself that he was here for money not women, even if he was hoping that Luna showed up.
