History
Growing up in Hahseu, a chaotic shantytown, Eury's life was marked by secrecy and struggle. Her father, a mage practicing necromancy, was her only family until he was killed by an angry customer when she was fifteen. They lived in the Midden, a quieter corner of the shantytown, where Eury now uses her magical powers to fend off troublesome gangsters.
Her father's rune and teachings laid the foundation for her magic skills in kinetics. He tried to keep her sheltered from his criminal nature, hoping that when she became an adult she could make a good living above ground. However, Eury took after her father. She was interested in necromancy which usually involved getting into illegal stuff. Thankfully she was in a lawless land that allowed her to get away with a lot. Her neighbors became like her family after her father passed.
Eury makes a living by selling necromantic goods on the black market, a risky endeavor born out of necessity. In her free time, she nurtures a passion for artificing. Despite a lack of formal instruction, Eury manages to expand her knowledge by trading information and tools, making artificing an aspiration beyond just survival.
Eury has become a half decent magic user and already has enough money to leave the Midden but it's all she's ever known. She's too scared to live any other kind of life and she doubts she could get away with practicing her kind of necromancy above ground. So she just focuses on developing her magic skills and puts escaping the Midden out of her mind.
