High above and far away a figure watched the girl with a hard expression, and his silver eyes narrowed. He'd noticed her during the construction work, a seemingly random woman openly displaying magic on the side of the road. It had been low level and unimpressive certainly, but there was something else about her that ruffled his black feathers. He stared at her for a time longer before turning back toward Gel'Grandal, flying back toward the capital city with powerful wing beats that made the air vibrate with every flap.
