龍 10th of Glade, Year 123, A.o.S 龍
龍 The sounds of a warrior practicing a rigid routine could be heard echoing within one of the training halls of Dawnhold. Hikami was perfecting his craft, creating a myriad of ways to blend his magics together. With each swing of his spear, an icy snowy trail of shimmer sapphire and cerulean flowed behind it. He would perform a series of attacks, sending out waves of ice in various forms as he trained, sweat dripping off him into frozen crystals shattering upon hitting the floor.
His spear technique was fast, precise, and exact, and as he twirled it in his hand, imagining himself surrounded by enemies he switched to another of his pact weapons, as Aoi Ryu took the place of his trusted spear. The movements of this weapon in his hands almost mimicked that of his aunt. Graceful and fluid, not missing a beat as its frozen aura sent chills throughout the training hall. To those who may have witnessed it, it looked as if he was dancing as each strike, each technique he blended with his elemental magic was a beautiful sight.
By the time he had finished his final flourish, the entirety of the training hall had become encased in ice, the temperature of the room considerably low enough to see one's own breath in front of them. With panted breath he began to melt the ice by will alone as he didn't want to be reprimanded by the senior Dawnmartyrs here. He was still not an official member, but given his circumstances and his ties with Talon, it was a great courtesy they allowed him to come and go as he pleased, to walk the streets and halls of Dawnhold. 龍

To say Knight-Captain Laveriel d’Revrinti was distant for the past week would be an understatement. She did her job, took patrols, trained the knights, but there was no denying the faraway look she had during quiet moments or the isolation she chose most days. One of the commanders had even suggested for her to take a break, at least a bit of time away from Dawnhold and everything involving this - which Veriel thought was a terrible suggestion and one she refused politely.
With her patrol shift ending, Veriel bid her goodbyes and began walking back to the Hall of Justice. She had stopped by the baker to get some custard bunds on the way, the plastic bag swinging in her hand as she walked.
Noticing a commotion as she passed, the elf could not help but pause. A group of people was gathering outside of the training hall, whispering to each other as they tried to look inside. A bunch of aspirants, to be exact. It was an odd sight.
“Why are you all just standing outside?” the knight-captain asked as she approached.
A human girl with green eyes broke away from the group, one she recognized as Aspirant Sarranne. Veriel had trained this particular class of recruits just two weeks ago. All new and wide-eyed. “Knight-Captain,” she greeted formally. “We’re scheduled for some self-training but it seems like someone is using it already.”
“He’s blasting ice everywhere!” one of her friends chimed in.
Veriel raised an eyebrow while the aspiring knights opened a path for her to pass. Turned out they were not exaggerating. The entire room had been turned to a frigid wasteland and a familiar figure stood at the center of it.
It was Hikami.
“The summer not cold enough for you?” the siltori teased as she nudged a melting block of ice with the tip of her boot. She turned to look at the aspirants and gestured at them to come in. “You’re scaring the new recruits.”

龍 His head turned to witness the faces of the new recruits as he was finishing up his training, he could see the look of discouragement and somewhat a tinge of fear in them. Then Laveriel had come, jesting about him not liking the current weather and noting that he was scaring the recruits. He smirked as he placed a hand on the ground and sent a wave of aether out, causing all the ice that had remained to melt away. "If they are frightened by a little ice then I don't think they are going to survive their training." he teased.
He looked between her and the others gathered, remembering that he was a guest here, and the less trouble he caused for himself the better. Pact weapon in hand he gave them all a respectful bow. "Forgive me, I didn't mean to startle anyone, I was simply airing out some frustration that has been building as of late. I do hope you do not take offense from this?" he apologized, looking to Laveriel. "Perhaps, to boost their spirits we give them a demonstration of what capable reavers are made of. How about a friendly spare between comrades? We did fight together after all."
He said moving back to his starting position. Turning he had a devilish smirk on his face as his spear rested within his hands."That is of course if the great knight-commander is afraid of a little ice. I wouldn't blame you if you were." he teased, chuckling a little bit. "I jest of course, but you have to admit, them being afraid of a little ice and snow is somewhat amusing is it not?" 龍
