All the lovely little letters, be they for Patrick or one of his associates, should be posted here in the event you wish to send out a correspondence.

Arrival: End of Winter 120

A courier arrives carrying with them two parcels. The first is a humble envelope addressed to Patrick. The second is a well-made scroll case inside of which is a vellum official decree signed with a seal bearing the symbol of a seven-pointed silver star upon a white background.

Dear Patrick,

The year has been challenging. I will not lie. There have been obstacles aplenty as I have traveled across the regions of the continent and finally found my way back home. I remember the Silver Lion Inn fondly. The inn, the people there and the experiences I had while visiting Atinaw left an impression that I will not soon forget. Your family’s kindness was immensely important and helpful. I will forever be grateful.

Your family is welcome in the territories of Kalzasi. Please, feel encouraged to explore and experience the whole of what my country has to offer. Kalzasi and the region of Karnor can be an intimidating place, but there are good and honest people in my homeland. I look forward to greeting you with open arms, my friend.

When you and your family arrive in Kalzasi, present the second letter to one of the magistrates at the Common Court.

I do hope to see you soon, Patrick. You, your parents and your brothers are welcome to join me at the Palace of the First Wind upon your arrival.

The bearer of this letter has been welcomed into the City-State of Kalzasi with full status and privilege under the patronage of the Royal House of Novalys. By my authority, they are authorized to establish a place of business, purchase land, and seek the cooperation of guilds with the consultation and judicious agreement of Kalzasern law. Please direct them to the finance ministers of House Novalys at the Central Bank of Kalzasi to have the appropriate paperwork arranged.
